Facial Massage

Facial massage is a game-changer for glowing skin. It boosts blood circulation, enhances lymphatic drainage (reducing puffiness), and brings back a glow to otherwise dull skin. There’s no need to splash out on an expensive treatment, this can be done at home using a high-quality facial oil — I love Amora Botanicals, and have recently tried Hopothecary Rosehop by Nichola Joss, which might be a new favourite!

At-Home Tools

For an extra boost, consider LED or laser devices such as Current Body or Lyma Laser. These products don’t come cheap, so be sure to test them in a salon before committing, making sure they work for you. Whilst expensive, these devices help you maintain at home, what facialist can achieve for your skin in clinic. Helping reduce appearance of pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dry skin, and help improve your skins firmness.

The Power of Supplements

True glow starts from within, our skin is often a reflection of our general health and wellbeing. To support my overall health, I use the following supplements -

Symprove | I take Symprove every day, first thing in the morning, to help maintain the good bacteria in my gut, essential for gut health. I take a 70ml shot of ‘good bacteria’ that helps regulate the ecosystem in the microbiome – these bacteria help to break down food and toxins, make vitamins and interact with your immune system.

Altrient C | Vitamin C is not only great for the immune system, it has incredible benefits for your skin to! Altrient C Vitamin C uses liposomal encapsulation technology to ensure you maximise absorption and reap more of the rewards whether for good health or great skin.

Lumity | Whilst they recommend a three-month trial, I started noticing improvements in my energy and general wellbeing within the first month of taking Lumity. There are two supplements, one for the morning and one for evening, aligning with our bodies different modes. The day capsules include multivitamins and minerals, whilst the night capsules have a combination of amino acids to support your body through the night.
